RST 2020 - 27th Réunion des Sciences de la Terre (Earth Sciences Meeting) - Session T1.9 - Numerical modelling along active plate margins at different scales

Dear colleagues,

The 27th Réunion des Sciences de la Terre (Earth Sciences Meeting) that will be held in Lyon (26th-30th of October 2020) is confirmed!

Please, consider submitting an abstract to our session (T1.9 - Numerical modelling along active plate margins at different scales) before the 17th of July 2020 via the conference website at:

T1.9 Numerical modelling along active plate margins at different scales

Coordination: M. Roda, P. Sternai, J.-A. Olive

Geological processes at active plate margins are fundamental expressions of the dynamics of our Planet. However, they generally involve too long time scales and large spatial scales to be easily monitored. Numerical geodynamic modeling has thus become an important tool for Earth Scientists. In this session, we invite contributions that use numerical modelling to investigate regional tectonics, structural geology, rock mechanics and geodynamics at all possible temporal and spatial scales. Contributions regarding innovative forward and inverse modeling approaches or other technical advances are also welcome.

We hope to see many of you in Lyon!

On behalf of session conveners,

Manuel Roda, Pietro Sternai and Jean-Arthur Olive
