27e RST Lyon 1-5 November 2021 - Session T1.9: Numerical modelling along active plate margins at different scales: SUBMISSION OF CONTRIBUTIONS STILL OPEN

Dear Colleagues (with apologies for cross-posting),

The 27e RST is confirmed and will held in Lyon from 1 to 5 Novembre 2021 (27e édition de la Réunion des Sciences de la Terre - Sciencesconf.org).

The deadline for the submission of contributions is the 31st May 2021 (27e édition de la Réunion des Sciences de la Terre - Sciencesconf.org)

Please, consider a possible submission to our session T1.9: Numerical modelling along active plate margins at different scales

Geological processes at active plate margins are fundamental expressions of the dynamics of our Planet. However, they generally involve too long time scales and large spatial scales to be easily monitored. Numerical geodynamic modeling has thus become an important tool for Earth Scientists. In this session, we invite contributions that use numerical modelling to investigate regional tectonics, structural geology, rock mechanics and geodynamics at all possible temporal and spatial scales. Contributions regarding innovative forward and inverse modeling approaches or other technical advances are also welcome.

We hope to see you in Lyon next November!
