PDRA position in subduction zone geodynamics available at the University of Leeds (UK)

Dear all,

We are looking to recruit a postdoctoral research fellow in Geodynamics at the University of Leeds (UK). The post is to work on the geodynamics of subduction zones in relation to seismicity occurring within the downgoing plate – there are several projects available within the topic such successful candidates can work on, and I am happy to discuss options with candidates. Candidates should have a background in numerical geodynamic modelling and/or seismicity in subduction settings, and should already have a relevant PhD (or one very near completion).

For full details, and how to apply, please see here. Anyone considering an application, or looking for further details, is welcome to contact me directly at t.j.craig@leeds.ac.uk, preferably including a CV. Applications will close on 28th May, and candidates must be able to start by November 2024. The post is funded by the Royal Society, and funding is available for 2 years in the first instance.

Please feel free to forwards this advertisement on to anyone you know who might be interested.

Many thanks,

Tim
