We seek an experienced System Engineer responsible for managing and maintaining software, hardware, and networking infrastructure for CIG. The System Engineer will work with CIG Staff and community stakeholders to identify, analyze, design, propose and implement enhancements and upgrades as needed to interconnected systems and software needed to support servers, switches, and high-performance compute nodes. The System Engineer will be in charge of containerization and deployment of software on local and national shared high- computing resources and have a working knowledge of security to manage these resources.
The System Engineer is a self-motivated professional with demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team applying advanced technical and learning skills to solve complex problems
