AGU is just over one week away!
Looking for presentations by your CIG colleagues?
Check our online Calendar for:
- Abstracts. A list of presentations using CIG and other software in geodynamics. Is your presentation missing? Send us a link to your abstract.
- NASA Hyperwall. Look for this presentation of solar convection simulations using Rayleigh.
- Morrison Planetarium. You’re invited to a special planetarium presentation for AGU attendees on Wednesday, 13 December, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. This includes visualizations for mantle plumes and seismic wave models using SPECFEM.
- A Science Gateway for Mineral Physics. Use mineral properties in your computational models? Join the discussion to add to the wish list for a mineral physics gateway.
AND DON’T FORGET …
Our in person ANNUAL MEETING returns on Wednesday December 13 @5:30P. We appreciate your time during this busy AGU meeting to join us for complimentary light refreshments. We begin at 5:45P with a mini-workshop covering the essentials of research software and software publication by Rene Gassmoeller. The business portion of the meeting begins at 6P followed by a presentation at 6:15P by Gabriele Morra on Perspectives on Machine Learning in Geodynamics including a moderated discussion.
Please RSVP for this event @SPIN by December 5 so we can plan for the appropriate number of people.
