Dear Sir/Madame
I am writing regarding the possibility to enroll for a course in Pylith. My objective is to learn how to use Pylith both for direct and inverse modeling. I have long experience with other FEM software but Pylith seems to be more indicated for my current work. I don’t have however so much experience in python programming but I hope this won’t be a limitation. Is there any course I can take in January?

We recommend that you start with the introductory tutorials on the PyLith wiki page found here:
https://wiki.geodynamics.org/software:pylith:start
Navigate to the Tutorial section to see recordings of prior tutorials. A good starting point is to follow the Pre-Workshop instructions for the 2017 Crustal Deformation Workshop here:
https://geodynamics.org/cig/events/calendar/2017-cdm-workshop/tutorial-information/
We will be offering this workshop again 10-14 June 2019. Please continue to watch this category for the announcement when registration is open.
Best,
-Lorraine

The main place to get information about the June 10-14 crustal deformation modeling workshop, which includes tutorials on PyLith, will be the Crustal Deformation Modeling Workshop 2019 topic within the Short-Term Crustal Dynamics category.
