We invite work related to the Amundsen Sea Embayment to be submitted to our AGU 2024 session:
C015: Evolution of Glaciers in the Amundsen Sea Embayment: New Observations and Models
We welcome abstracts on work from Thwaites Glacier and other glaciers of the Amundsen Sea Embayment which explore a part of the full ocean-ice-atmosphere system, including the sea floor, ice shelf, grounding zone, interior glacier and shear margins, and also work from models incorporating the latest observations and key physical processes. We invite research presentations to highlight broader impacts (e.g., communicating discoveries to the public, supporting next generation polar scientists).
