Don’t forget to register for this half-day webinar. Authors of thermodynamic modeling codes alphaMELTS, BurnMan, ENKI-TerraFerma, HeFESTo, and MAGEMIN will come together for this special event highlighting computational models in mineral physics. Code authors will outline the fundamental principles on which their software is based and describe its structure to better enable incorporation in geodynamic models.
Participants may also share their research through lightning talks to catalyze discussions.
For more details, see the agenda and talk descriptions on the event website.
2026 Crustal Deformation Modeling Workshop
When: June 8-12, 2026
Where: Golden, Colorado

Space is still available for the 2026 Crustal Deformation Workshop. This workshop, held every 2 years, will focus on computational models addressing crustal deformation in the following areas:
- Constraining long-term fault slip rates and their uncertainties using geodetic and geologic data;
- Bayesian inversion of geodetic data for fault slip; and
- Interaction of fluids and faulting.
Registration closes when full.
