Dear PyLith team,
I am using pylith-3.0.3. I need to calculate static slip distribution on a fault from a prescribed shear stress on a fault. Is it possible on PyLith, and are there any example input file available?
This functionality is not yet available in PyLith v3. It is one of several features we are currently working on. This functionality is available in PyLith v2. See the manual for PyLith v2.2.2 (https://github.com/geodynamics/pylith/releases/download/v2.2.2/pylith-2.2.2_manual.pdf) for examples of this functionality, including examples/3d/hex8 step 10.
