Nov/Dec Announcements

Thanks to all who participated in our very first virtual Business Meeting last Thursday. The presentation is now available for download and you may also view the recording on our YouTube channel.

We had a great turnout and would like to hear from you whether we should continue with the virtual format next year. Note that in past years, our meeting was held in person at AGU.

  • CIG Annual Software Developer’s Meeting. Help us plan this year’s Software Developers. We are planning to meet virtually in February. Please contact the Committee Chairs, Brad Aagaard, or Rene Gassmoeller; or Lorraine, if you are interested by December 31.
  • Earthquake Cycles Working Group. Help lead a community effort towards the development of an open-source code(s) to simulate seismic cycles. We are interested in recruiting a group of motivated researchers at various career stages and backgrounds. For more information contact Committee Chair Sylvain Barbot, or Lorraine Hwang by January 31, 2022

Don’t forget, you can find AGU talks from CIG community members here.
