Dear Colleagues,
The American Geosciences Institute would like to announce that the Harriet Evelyn Wallace Scholarship is now open for applications! The scholarship is available for female students pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree at an accredited institution of higher education in a recognized geoscience program. Each scholarship award is $5,000.
One Master’s candidate and one Doctoral candidate will be selected for the 2021-2022 scholarship cycle. Applicants may either be entering graduate school or already enrolled in a graduate program in the geosciences. We strongly encourage incoming Master’s students to apply. Successful applicants will be thesis-based, full-time students and must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. The application deadline for the 2021-2022 academic year is February 7th, 2021.
